This Wednesday: Become a Bike Coalition Board of Director

Now's your chance to become a decision-maker at the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition, the non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to improving bicycling in San Diego. There are a number of (non-paid, volunteer) Board of Directors seats available.

According to a respected and senior Board of Director member, SDCBC would benefit by having more 'environmentally motivated regular bike commuting' and 'younger' people on the Board.

I agree.

If this sounds like you and if you support California in adopting the Idaho Rolling Stop, if you support the prosecution of motorists who use violence on cyclists, and if you support Livable Streets then I strongly encourage you to pursue a Board of Director seat at the Bike Coalition.

Contact Bike Coalition Executive Director Kathy Keehan to get more info on what to do next. Once you do that, show up to the Board of Directors meeting this Wednesday, June 23 from 7-8:30pm at the Bike Coalition's downtown office, 740 13th Street, Suite 502. Email execdir[at]sdcbc[dot]org or call (eight five eight) four eight seven - six zero six three.
